DJ irk is a regular contributor to London’s legendary Solid Steel Radio and has twice won the Mix Of The Year title on the show. He’s known for his scratch sample sequences and high-energy sets, and has played live to crowds in Europe, Russia and North America over the last few years, alongside artists such as Kentaro, Vadim, Kid Koala, Foreign Beggars, The Nextmen, Woody, Mr Thing, Format, Cheeba, Moneyshot, Hexstatic, plus many more. Following his 2010 debut on Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel Radio, he released several acclaimed mixtapes on the show, taking  listeners on journeys through only the broadest selections of beats, breaks and sample soundscapes. He went on to win the MOTY title back-to-back in 2010 and 2011.
